Sharmishta is the Community Manager for the Young Global Leaders across Asia-Pacific. She is a Singaporean citizen who was raised and educated across the Middle East, Europe, South/Southeast Asia and North America. Sharmishta holds a Master in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland and an undergraduate degree in International Affairs and Economics with a minor in Sustainability from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University. Sharmishta has pursued numerous professional experiences in the public, private, and NGO sectors. She has spoken at the Palais des Nations, the International Telecommunications Union, the Asian Development Bank and at the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
