The report outlines the community's work, which has directly improved 891 million lives over the past 25 years while creating significant economic value for communities. Their models put purpose before profit and have proven to be effective and economically viable in creating social and environmental progress where market or development approaches have failed.

The report also presents the transformative work of the 2024 Social Innovation Awardees, 16 outstanding organizations that offer hope and effective solutions at a time when faith in leadership is in decline worldwide. From instilling agency among individuals and nurturing their capacity to question themselves and reconceive their models to leveraging local ecosystems, daring to relinquish control and building community feedback loops, they are shaping today’s social and economic systems to be more inclusive, equitable and sustainable.
