With 90% of countries reporting disruption to essential health services since the COVID-19 pandemic, progress on reducing maternal mortality, fighting communicable diseases, preventing deaths from non-communicable diseases and thwarting substance abuse has diminished. What policies, practices and partnerships are needed to prevent a resurgence of previously managed health conditions?
