Co-founded and leads Greenhope to help solve the urgent plastic waste pollution crisis by researching, developing, and deploying proprietary, patented, locally sourced lower carbon bio-based and biodegradable next generation materials. The locally sourced materials include tapioca starch sourced from Indonesian farmers with Fair-for-Life certification. Currently Greenhope is working with >150 finished product factories and brands across >40 applications in >10 countries.
Previously Tommy worked as management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. After 10 years in the US and Europe, he returned home foregoing US permanent residence to build Indonesia and its people. Tommy is passionate in building communities of entrepreneurs and business leaders who are committed to impact the world positively and creating value sustainably.
