Simone A. Rodriguez is a business leader with 10 years of experience in strategy, consulting and product engineering roles. She joined Cognizant in 2020 where she is currently Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO, focused on driving strategic and large-scale business transformation for the organization and its clients. Simone is passionate about empowering organizations to harness the potential of technology and innovation to create meaningful, long-term value in evolving industry landscapes.
Since joining Cognizant, Simone has held pivotal roles in the Healthcare management consulting practice and later advanced to the Health Science Strategy office, leading
initiatives that bridged healthcare and technology. She has been instrumental in developing new industry solutions, particularly those leveraging advanced technologies like generative AI. Simone has orchestrated opportunities across the partner ecosystem and driven significant growth through complex regulatory and platform modernization efforts.
Simone’s early career in prosthetics, robotics and bioanalytics gave her a foundation in cutting-edge R&D and innovation. She holds an MBA and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA in Cell & Molecular Biology from Boston University.
