Neville Lai is the co-founder and CEO of Trigrams Research Group (TRG), an independent boutique research firm dedicated to helping organisations build future-proof capabilities and resilience through market research and strategic foresight to develop critical sectors in Asia. His thought leadership has been featured and quoted in leading media platforms. He is recognised as an Asia 21 Fellow at Asia Society and a Fellow at Salzburg Global. He also serves as an Advisor on Asia for CogitoPraxis, providing strategic insights for companies striving for competitiveness amidst geopolitical fragmentation.
He was educated in Hong Kong, the UK, and France. After a stint in Geneva, Switzerland, he was posted to the smallest state of Myanmar - Kayah State - promoting community-based development for the United Nations / World Trade Organisation. He has been a Senior Consultant at PwC, advising public sector clients as a policy consultant, and was one of the key writers for the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Action Plan on Maritime and Port Development Strategy.
He is a frequent public speaker, including at HPAIR, the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and the Asia Society etc., who advocates for the youth's role in geopolitics and policymaking. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
