Ingrid Woolard is a Professor in the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town, a Research Associate ofthe Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU) and a Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). She is currently one of the Principal Investigators of the National Income Dynamics Study (NIDS). She was a member of the Employment Conditions Commission from 2008 to 2014 and is currently a member of the Davis Tax Committee.
