Geneviève Verdier is a Deputy Division Chief in the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department. Prior to joining the IMF, she was an assistant professor of economics at Texas A&M University. She previously worked as an economist in the Research Department of the Bank of Canada. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia.
