Dr. Berta Moya, an expert in environmental solutions, brings a decade of global experience to the forefront of addressing environmental challenges. Her professional journey encompasses diverse international projects and research, focusing on the critical nexus of water, food, waste, and energy. Dr. Moya earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Cranfield University.
In her role at Carbonfuture, Dr. Moya is at the forefront of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) technologies. She leads the innovative Catalyst program, which connects frontier CDR technologies with the carbon market. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Spanish Biochar Association, where she is dedicated to promoting biochar awareness and increasing its production and usage, particularly in regions of Europe most susceptible to climate change impacts.
