Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Vestwell

Aaron is the founder and CEO of Vestwell, a leading enterprise fintech platform focused on closing the savings gap. Founded in 2016, the New York City-based company provides access to essential financial wellness and savings programs as the backbone of the modern savings economy. Vestwell transforms democratization and inclusion in the most impactful savings apparatuses available, healing the monetary cracks from the ground up.

Delivered through financial institutions, government, and payroll partnerships, Vestwell enables a suite of programs, including retirement, health, and education, such as 401(k), 403(b), IRA, 529 College, ABLE disability, Emergency Savings, and student loan matching programs. Today, Vestwell enables over 350,000 businesses and nearly 1.5M active savers, with over $30 billion in assets.

Before founding Vestwell, Aaron co-founded FolioDynamix, a wealth management fintech platform. At FolioDynamix, Aaron oversaw the strategy, revenue, marketing, customers, and product development. FolioDynamix was acquired by Envestnet.

Outside of Vestwell, Aaron has served on the board of directors and the advisory board for several fintech companies, including Quovo (acquired by Plaid), Vestorly (acquired by FMG Suite), OfColor (acquired by Financial Finesse), Chalice Network, and CapIntel.

Aaron holds a B.S. in finance from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an M.B.A. degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He was included in InvestmentNews’ 40 Under 40, WealthManagement.com’s “10 to Watch”, and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by EY for New York in 2024.
