Sustainable construction material sharing platform

Problem Statement

The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that every year, around 600

thousand tonnes of Construction & Demolition waste is generated just in the

United States. This is not only wasteful but comes at an enormous carbon footprint,

while a large part of this waste could be repurposed at other sites and construction

activities.

Target Group

NGOs and other organizations aiming to alleviate poverty through housing provisions

Proposed Solution

Our project aims to provide a platform where developers from large corporations to

small private entrepreneurs could connect and offer their remaining materials to

charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Age of Hope, and other NGOs aiming to

alleviate poverty through housing provisions.

Hub Activities

The Hub is going to build a platform as well as facilitating outreach activities to

different stakeholders and onboarding them to the new system.
