Scambio Generazionale

Over time the popularity of local craftsmanship has decreased significantly and younger generation know little of these working realities.

The project aims to create an opportunity to study the intangible heritage of the traditional craftsmanship of our area and its evolution through the exchange between middle and high school students and craftsmen and the analysis of how this type of occupation has evolved over time.

During the past year,  the Venice Hub was able to involve three craftsmen (two working in the textile industry and one as goldsmith) engaging over 80 students from a local middle school.

The goal of the project is to tackle the generation gap and promote exchanges between older and younger people whilst learning about the traditional craftsmanship of our area and related evolution and innovation over time.
