COVID-19 : Sanitizing Walk-through Gates

An important step to stem the spread of coronavirus is the installation of anti-viral walkthrough gates at entry points of places of public gatherings. Before the start of the holy month of Ramadan, the Government of Pakistan has allowed religious gatherings based on certain standard operating procedures, according to the guidelines of World Health Organizations. Though these anti-viral walkthrough gates are not useful to disinfect the virus already transmitted in the human body, they do help prevent the spread by disinfecting the outer self of a human. In this regard, Global Shapers Community Faisalabad Hub has taken an initiative to provide support to the Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department with the objective of installing five anti-viral walkthrough gates at entry points of nominated mosques. This initiative is important in view of the welfare of community as it will provide support in controlling the spread of coronavirus.
