Bursting Bubble Meetings

Our society is polarized. One of the contributing factors are so-called “filter bubbles”. We prefer to surround ourselves with people that hold the same or very similar opinions. Unfortunately, this increases the lack of understanding between different parts of the population. The Global Shapers Vienna want to tackle this polarization in society. We want to burst filter bubbles! We organise *Bubble Tours* to explore and connect with diverse filter bubbles in Vienna and engage with communities around the topics LGBTQ*, NEETs, refugees, Muslims & Jews, people with disabilities, workers, fraternities, activists and more. By actively engaging with those bubbles we produce content to raise awareness for filter bubbles, polarization in society and how to take action to tackle these issues.

Goal: Reducing polarization in society by bursting filter bubbles.
