15 Minutos de Emprendimiento was inspired by Global Entrepreneurship Week. It serves as a platform where entrepreneurs can share 15 minute testimonials in front of a large audience that serve to motivate others to launch their business ideas and/or generate social and environmental impact. Usually 8 local and international leaders are invited to share their stories in an entertaining yet educational way. Usually the audience consists of young people that are interested in starting their own organizations. This event has been hosted twice so far in Nicaragua - one in partnership with a local university and another with a local cinema. We understand that there is a very high unemployment rate for young people between the ages of 20-35, so a movement around entrepreneurship can motivate young entrepreneurs to launch their business ideas.
