Vittorio Colao is the Italian Minister for Technology Innovation and Digital Transition. In 2020 he coordinated the Committee of experts in economic and social matters during the COVID-19 crisis. In the past he held the positions of CEO of Vodafone Group, CEO of RCS MediaGroup, CEO of Omnitel Pronto Italia and Partner at McKinsey & Co. Recently he has been Vice-Chair for General Atlantic in Europe, Non-Executive Director of Unilever Plc and Verizon Communications and Executive Trustee at Bocconi University. Awarded Cavaliere al Merito del Lavoro (2014) and Grand Ufficiale (2020) by Italy’s Presidents, he was nominated United Nations He4She Champion (2015) and FT Women Champion (2017).
