Tatiana Gallego-Lizon

Division Chief, Housing and Urban Development, Inter-American Development Bank

Tatiana is an urbanist and engineer with over 20 years experience in international development.
Her interests include urban climate change resilience and biodiversity; integrated water resources; regional and urban planning and governance - with a focus on new approaches and forms, including vehicles for economic corridor development; technology and contract innovation for improved service delivery; heritage, culture and identity in the urban realm. She currently heads the Housing and Urban Development division at the Inter American Development Bank and previously led the Asian Development Bank's Southeast Asia Urban Development and Water Division. Tatiana has extensive experience in international finance and development, industry and research. Tatiana holds a PhD and an MEng in engineering by the Imperial College, London and a PGD in public policy from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
