Susana Sierra

Chief Executive Officer, BH Compliance

Susana Sierra is a global leader in the field of compliance and corporate governance, recognized for her influential work in promoting transparency, ethics and good practices in the private sector.

She is the CEO of BH Compliance, a company that, through its solutions, Comply Pulse and G-Metrix, assess the strength and effectiveness of corporate governance and compliance practices, enabling companies—and their boards, to identify material risks and opportunities, act early, and align with investor expectations, before they impact performance or stakeholder trust.

Ms. Sierra sits on the boards of the Chilean-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Chile), Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and Caribbean (AACCLA) and the Financial & International Business Association (FIBA) in Miami.

Additionally, between 2018 and 2022, she served on the board of Correos de Chile S.A., applying her expertise in Corporate Governance and emphasizing the importance of integrity as a core value.

Between 2016 and 2022, she was a member of the board of the Chilean Chapter of Transparency International, Chile Transparente, acting as Chair from 2020 to 2022, and participated as a Task Force co-chair 2030 TI worldwide strategy.

In 2021, Ms. Sierra founded the Fundación Independízate, a civil society organization that aims to provide methodological support to entrepreneurs in various fields, mostly professionals who have decided to work for themselves and require support in their business models in a competitive environment and demanding market.

In the academic world, from 2014 to 2020, she was co-director of the Compliance and Corporate Best Practices Diploma at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC), where he continues to teach today. In addition, she is a professor of the MBA UC and in various academic programs around the world, on compliance and good governance issues.

She is also a mentor in Endeavor Chile and, a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), Women Corporate Directors (WCD), International Women’s Forum (IWF), Women in White Collar and Private Corporate Directors.
Her global leadership extends worldwide, participating as a speaker at prestigious events such as FIBA AML 2023, 2024 and 2025, Leader Leagues Miami 2024, RISK London 2023, Nexus 2023, Cities Summit of the Americas 2023, and IX Summit of the Americas 2022, among others.

Her remarkable work has received global recognition. In 2025 she was named one of the 50 most influential women in the United States by “Santander W50” (SW50). In 2023, she was named “CEO of the Year” by The Women in Governance, Risk & Compliance and “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” by the TITAN Awards Women in Business. In 2022, she received the "Hispanic Leadership Award" in the Business Award category from the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Miami. In 2018, she was honored with the "Women Who Make a Difference" award by the International Women’s Forum in the United States; that same year, she became the first Latin American woman to win the "Women in Compliance Awards" in the category of “Lifetime Achievement for Service to the Compliance Industry. In Chile, she was recognized four times with the "100 Mujeres Líderes" award, granted by El Mercurio and Mujeres Empresarias (2015, 2022, 2023, and 2024), and was also named one of the "100 Leaders" by the School of Economics and Business at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) in 2024.

She is also a regular columnist in media outlets such as La Tercera, El Mostrador, and Radio Infinita in Chile, as well as for international media like Forbes Business Council. Additionally, she is a co-author of the book "Corrupción a la Carta"

She is currently based in Miami, where she oversees BH Compliance USA.
