Stefanie M. Falconi

Emerging Tech Advisor, Instituto Limite

Stefanie is a Policy Entrepreneur and Emergent Tech Advisor, working at the intersection of Tech and Policy. She has been an invited speaker to the U.S. State Department, the Institute of Water Resources, the World Resource Institute, and several academic institutions in Brazil, Ecuador, and the USA.

Falconi holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. She is alumni of the Faculty for the Future Fellowship, Global Solutions Program Fellow (Google sponsored) at SingularityU, and WEF's Global Futures Council. Her work in Sustainability began at The Earth Institute, Columbia University, over 15 years ago and today spans four continents. In her role as Emergent Tech Advisor at USAID, she provides tools for multi-stakeholder engagement in decision making to improve policies in the face of climate risks.

She was raised in Ecuador, educated in the USA, and currently resides in Brazil.
