Sanjeev Sanyal is Deutsche Bank's Global Strategist. He is also the author of two bestselling books: “The Indian Renaissance: India's Rise after a Thousand Years of Decline” and “Land of the Seven Rivers: A Brief History of India's Geography”. He is also the author of "The Wide Angle" and "The Random Walk" series, which are among the most widely read research in the financial world. In 2007, Sanyal was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship for his research on Asian cities. He has also been an Honorary Senior Fellow of WWF, a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University, Founder of the Sustainable Planet Institute and an Adjunct Fellow at Institute Policy Studies in Singapore. Sanyal attended Shri Ram College of Commerce at Delhi University and St.John's College, Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
