Ricardo Amaral is Western Union's Vice President for Brazil and LACA West Region, Global Money Transfer (GMT), comprising Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Paraguay, based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Previously, Ricardo was the GMT Lead for the LACA West Region, since July 2017. From March 2015 to June 2017, he was the General Manager for WU Panama and Country Director for Cuba and the Dominican Republic. He started his career in marketing, working for Western Union in Brazil, Argentina and Panama. He has also worked for companies such as General Electric and Danone.

Ricardo graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s in Business Administration from IAE Business School (Argentina) and UCLA Anderson School of Management (USA). He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil) and Corvinus University (Hungary).
