Regina Esteves

Regina Célia Esteves, Brazilian, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and MBA in University Management. She started her career as an intern at The Paul University, in Chicago – USA, and then as the Community and Financial Provost at São Marcos University, in São Paulo. From 1996 to 1997, she was the director of Special Projects at the office of the Minister of Education, Paulo Renato de Souza and, from 1996 to 2002, she worked for the Comunidade Solidária Council, with the Presidency of Brazil.
In 1996, she participated on the creation process of the Solidarity for Literacy Program and the foundation of Associação AlfaSol in 1998. Ever since, she’s been the CEO of this non-profit organization. After 2008, she also assumed the management of UniSol, organization that was integrated to AlfaSol. Since 2009, she also accumulated the management of the Ruth Cardoso Center and Comunitas – Partnerships for Solidarity Development – and she also responds as CEO for both organizations.
Regina is also a member of different local councils, for example: Curator Council of Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado (FECAP), Social Council of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo(FIESP), Education Consultative Committee of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the deliberative council of the Sustainability Guide of Exame magazine.
