Reem is the founder of a permaculture educational center, Learn to Grow. Learn to Grow creates and implements holistic programs for children, teens, and adults that focus on health, science, art, movement, and character development in nature. The program provides a space for people to connect to nature, while promoting a healthy lifestyle for people and our planet.
Reem Yateem is a Bahraini American. She grew up in Bahrain and moved to California to attend UC Davis. She is an educator who is passionate about teaching students to love, appreciate, and take care of our planet. Reem is enthusiastic about empowering her students and fostering connections in our classroom. Her masters at UC Davis focused on inquiry while implementing restorative practices in the classroom. Reem started as a shaper with the Sacramento Shapers when she was teaching there in 2019. She moved to Manama Shapers when she moved to Bahrain in 2021.
