Dr. Ranjana Kaul is a Partner at Dua Associates, Law Offices, New Delhi, India. She specializes in the international air law and space law regimes, and advises on its intersection with India’s policy and regulatory framework, in the context of commercial space activities and the military use of outer space.
Dr. Kaul's primary practice includes advising on joint ventures and acquisitions, aviation , education , oil and gas sector and regulations, foreign exchange regulations, company law and intellectual property rights. She also advises on issues related to international and domestic laws and regulations pertaining to space enabled business. she has also litigated in the High Court of Delhi, Supreme Court of India and other tribunals in related matters. Prior to joining Dua she has served as counsel for the Union of India at the High Court of Delhi and Counsel for the state of Maharashtra in the Supreme Court of India. She has assisted Government in legislative drafting for Delhi Jal Board and Delhi State Commission for Women. She has also been a consultant to the world Bank and the Indian Council for Research in International Economic Relations.
Dr Kaul holds an LLM from the Institute of Air & Space Law, McGill University, Canada, an LLB from the Delhi University and a PhD in constitutional studies from Pune University, India.
