Noah Zych

Global General Manager, Autonomous Mobility and Delivery, Uber Technologies

Noah is passionate about reimagining the way the world moves for the better, and has strived throughout his career to conscientiously develop and deploy state-of-the-art technology in pursuit of improved mobility. He joined Uber in early 2015, and in his current role as Global General Manager for Autonomous Mobility & Delivery he holds responsibility for the successful commercialization of autonomous vehicles on the Uber Platform. In this position, Noah leads efforts to establish and implement partnerships with trustworthy technology developers and fleet operators around the world who share Uber’s vision of safe, sustainable, and affordable autonomous transportation services. His team has launched and presently oversees customer-facing offerings for autonomous rides and autonomous food delivery in a growing number of cities.
Noah has more than 18 years of experience in autonomous systems, and has been involved in projects ranging from developing robotaxis to performing at-sea testing of robotic underwater mine neutralization vehicles. Prior to Uber, he worked at Oshkosh Corporation on highly automated driving for off-road and defense applications. Noah earned a B.S. and an M. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a certificate in Strategic Technology Management from the University of Illinois. He was a co-founder of Cornell’s DARPA Grand Challenge team and currently holds 8 patents.
