Dr Niranjan Rajadhyaksha is Research Director and Senior Fellow at IDFC Institute, a public policy think tank. His research interests include macroeconomics, political economy and economic history. He was previously Executive Editor of Mint, a financial newspaper. He is also on the academic advisory board of the Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics and on the advisory board of the Centre for Civil Society. He was been awarded the Ramnath Goenka award for journalism and the B.R. Shenoy award for economics.
