For over 2 decades, Mustapha has built a renewable energy development company in Europe/MENA, focusing on making affordable access to energy from wind, solar and waste-to-energy, on-grid and off-grid.
Meanwhile through various positions at the World Bank-IFC, United Nations Environment Programme, Bain & Company several and for several COP Presidencies, he has also contributed as a climate finance specialist to designing innovative blended finance mechanisms able to attract more private capital making clean energy projects more profitable.
Applying his 20 years of groundbreaking work, Ailo offers certified sustainable HPC and AI computes aiming to help the data centers industry leapfrog energy and water efficiency.
He is a regular speaker in Davos, UN COP and Global Business Conferences. He holds a MSc in Environmental Technology Engineering (France) and MS in Sustainability Innovation (HEC Paris Business School) and Executive Education Harvard Kennedy School and Standford University. He was a visiting professor at HEC Paris and authored, “Fostering a Global Clean Energy Market” in 2006, L’Harmattan. Mustapha is an Alumni of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders.
