Mosa Moshabela is Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Cape Town and Professor of Public Health. A clinician-scientist and public health researcher, his work focuses on implementation science, health systems and policy, and improving access, quality and equity in healthcare, particularly for HIV, tuberculosis and other health challenges in resource-constrained settings in sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, he was Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Innovation at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and has held national and international advisory roles in health research and policy.
