Monica Yadav is the Founder of Respire Experiential Learning (REL) and is working on making STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics) education accessible to government as well as private schools. She has experience of 7+ years working in diverse locations ranging from metro cities to tribal villages for setting up Makers/Tinkering lab in schools and has past experience of working in Clean energy sector.

REL has set up more than 71 low-cost Innovation labs across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Karnataka with 21st century skills learning solutions and demographics based curriculum. REL has impacted more than 1,00,000 students with Innovation labs, Workshops, Teacher training and learning products.

She is an advocate for women in engineering and is actively working in the sector with the initiative “Girls do science” wherein her focus is to develop Gender-specific educational tools to encourage girls to take up STEM career and know more about Women scientists and engineers.

She is Former Curator of the Ahmedabad Hub. She is actively participating in hub project "The Science Period" in Ahmedabad hub She is also a Mentor for Atal Tinkering Labs - an initiative under the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog, Government of India. She is active member of CII - India Women Network. She is passionate about bird watching and gardening - hydroponics.
