Mark-Alexandre Doumba

Founder & CEO, CLIKAFRIK Group Limited

Mark Doumba is an entrepreneur, investor, and development economist. He leads a number of initiatives that aim to expand financial, social, and digital inclusion in Sub-Saharan Africa.
As founder and CEO of CLIKAFRIK Group, Mark sets up digital single business windows in partnership with select African governments and business communities as part of an effort to empower entrepreneurship by digitizing company incorporation and business banking account opening. His work has empowered thousands of entrepreneurs join the formal economy and access banking services from the convenience of their smartphones.

In addition to his work in the private sector, Mark was active on major public and non-profit initiatives. He has served on the Transitional Committee of the Green Climate Fund, on the Global Agenda Council on Responsible Mineral Resources Management at the World Economic Forum, and as Managing Editor of the Africa Policy Journal at Harvard University.

Mark earned a Bachelor's degree in finance from the George Washington University; an Msc Management from the London School of Economics (LSE), and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.

He has published a number of articles on themes related to development in Africa and social justice in the world.
