Dr. Marina Kaneti is Assistant Professor in International Affairs at the LKY School of Public Policy. She specializes in questions of global governance, including climate change and migration.

In one of her latest research projects, Dr. Kaneti studies responses to the Covid-19 pandemic in Asia in order to construct a Social Resilience Index assessing the prevalence of social protection mechanisms in times of environmental and social crises.

Dr. Kaneti completed her BA and MSW degrees at Columbia University and her PhD at the New School for Social Research. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Kaneti worked on Wall Street as equity trader and project manager at the United Nations Development Programme.
