Driving Large-Scale Ecosystem Restoration & Climate Solutions | CEO & Co-founder, Carbonof
Nature is the most powerful ally we have in tackling climate change. At Carbonof, I lead efforts to restore ecosystems at scale, working hand-in-hand with local communities to regenerate landscapes, capture carbon, and create long-term economic value.
We currently manage 500,000 hectares of forest landscapes in Mexico, designing projects that balance ecological integrity with sustainable development. Our work has earned international recognition, including being featured in the Netflix Sustainability Report 2023, winning the Boscares Awards, and being named Developer of the Year 2024 by Climate Action Reserve.
In 2022, I had the opportunity to speak at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, contributing to discussions on how nature-based solutions can drive systemic climate action and unlock innovative financing for large-scale ecosystem restoration.
Through cutting-edge restoration projects developed under standards like Verra and CAR, I bridge the gap between nature-based solutions and global climate goals, ensuring high-integrity carbon credits that deliver real impact.
I believe restoration is the future of climate action—not just as a carbon solution, but as a pathway to biodiversity conservation, water security, and resilient economies. Let’s connect to accelerate bold, scalable solutions for people and the planet.
