Maha is the Sustainability and Sustainable Finance Officer at Arab Bank. In 2022, she was selected by the bank’s top management to join this newly established department by the Central Bank of Egypt due to her passion and background in the sustainability field. She has + 6 years of experience in climate advocacy with national and international aspects. Not only is she a graduate of the second batch of the "Be Ambassador" program facilitated by the Egyptian Ministry of Planning, but she also was one of the few Arab Youth who were selected to be part of the Youth Advisory Group to provide consultation in the UNESCO Regional Report on Knowledge for Youth-Led Climate Action in the Arab region.

She led her team to victory in the Knowledge Week for Sustainable Development by the UNDP Arab Bureau and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation. As a result of her efforts, she was elected to be the TVET coordinator in the Egyptian Knowledge Council for Sustainable Development. Her passion and commitment to making a positive impact in her community while leaving a good legacy supported her steps to conduct +25 online and offline training sessions on topics such as climate change, SDGs, financial literacy, the Art of LinkedIn, and Dialogue.

She believes in the power of public speaking, which is why she gives speeches to empower over 5000 youth about volunteering, earning scholarships, and saving the planet from climate change in various events. At the beginning of 2024, she was selected as the star of the "Nogoum program" and earned a trophy from Arab Bank for her dedication, contribution, and going the extra mile beyond the average job requirements during 2023.
