Dr. Yifan David Li is an entrepreneur, scientist, and engineer in the field of AI, autonomous driving, and robotics. He is also the co-founder of Hesai, who is the largest 3D sensor (LiDAR) manufacturer in the world, by revenue and market cap (NASDAQ: HSAI). Hesai's customers and partners include 6 out of the top 10 global automotive OEMs by revenue, and it owns >70% of the global fully autonomous vehicles market for lidars. Hesai's shareholders include Bosch, Xiaomi, Meituan, Baidu, etc. Dr. Li holds a PhD degree from UIUC in humanoid robotics, and bachelor degree from Tsinghua University.
