Held numerous political office duties such as Chair of the Swedish Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Communications, Deputy Chair of the Committee on Education. 2009-11, Secretary-General, Swedish Social Democratic Party. Since 2014, Minister for Energy; from 2016, also holds additional portfolio of Policy Coordination in the Government of Sweden. Has also chaired the Swedish Energy Policy Commission, delivering a long-term energy policy agreement with the major parties of the Swedish Parliament.
