Co-founder & President, Mi Sangre Foundation

Catalina Cock Duque is an expert in catalyzing systemic change with over 25 years of experience as a serial social entrepreneur and a leadership and social innovation consultant. As the co-founder and President of Fundación Mi Sangre, she spearheads efforts to unlock young people´s potential to contribute to sustainable peace, positively impacting the lives of more than 2 million individuals in Colombia. Since 2006, Mi Sangre has played a pivotal role in fostering systemic cultural change in Colombia by involving youth and the actors surrounding them as key contributors to personal, community, and systemic transformation. This model equips participants with life, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills, empowering them to co-create positive changes in their communities.

As a conscious leader, she is passionate about working across sectors with purpose-driven businesses and non-profits and across cultures from Latin America to North America, Europe, and Africa. She has deep experience in sustainable development, citizen security and peaceful coexistence, diversity and inclusion, and mental health. Catalina has been distinguished multiple times in her career, including as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, an Ashoka Fellow, a Synergos Fellow, and as one of the 100 Transformative Women by leading media outlet Silla Vacía in Colombia. Catalina played a pivotal role in the creation and scaling up of the first social and environmental certification of artisanal gold mining in the world. As a Co-Founder of Green Gold and the Alliance for Responsible Mining, she was instrumental in driving this certification's expansion across more than 10 countries.
