Birgit is CEO of Allianz Health Germany, responsible for about 3.3 Bill EUR in revenues, 30 Bill EUR in assets and 2.6 Million insured lives. Prior to joining Allianz in 2011, Birgit was Partner at McKinsey&Company, Inc, where she focused on strategy and innovation serving clients across a variety of different industries but with a pronounced passion for the health care sector. Birgit holds a Master of Science (Biology) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and worked in research positions in Germany and San Francisco.
