Ayushka Nugaliyadda currently works at the Citra Social Innovation Lab (a joint initiative between UNDP Sri Lanka and the Government, and South Asia's first Social Innovation Lab) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, as its Economist and Systems Design Lead. She graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Economics, and thereafter, obtained her MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. Having cultivated a passion for the Performing Arts since she was a child, in her free time, Ayushka actively participates and choreographs local theatre productions, as well choral and dance shows. She is passionate about alleviating poverty, gender issues and sustainable development, and strongly believes that being a part of the Global Shapers community will provide a platform to enable positive change.
