Ms. Angela Marcarino Paris is Head of Division for the Asia and Pacific Public Sector at the European Investment Bank. Angela has wide professional experience in finance covering both private and public sector worldwide, having served at Moody’s Investor Service, MIGA and the Inter-American Development Bank. In 2003 she worked with John Briscoe on the first World Bank’s Water Resources Strategy, and she has been part of the Water Board.

Angela combines a vast range of financial products and insurance experience with strong leadership, a strategic mind set, and proven operational management capacity.. An Italian national, Angela also worked extensively in governance, having contributed to IADB 9th capital increase and Realignment, and having worked extensively with EIB’s Secretary General to introduce a new Appointment Committee for the EIB Vice Presidents. Angela holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from ESCP and has published articles and books regarding private sector development as well as the structuring of infrastructure projects.
