Alexandre is the co-founder & CEO of Easy Solar, an innovative asset financing company unlocking access to solar power and other transformative products for millions of homes and businesses in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and other untapped West African markets.
In 2024, he co-founded the Rural Energy Access Launchpad (REAL), an initiative aiming to catalyze $1B of subsidies by 2030 to provide sustainable energy solutions to more than 50 million people in sub-saharan Africa, through an innovative distributed infrastructure model.
Prior to that, he worked in the field of Mobile Money and Financial Inclusion in Kenya and Afghanistan, and has 5 years of experience as an M&A, Strategy and Financial Services consultant at PwC's Paris office.
Over the years, he's been involved in a number of entrepreneurial adventures, including the set-up of a restaurant on his university campus and helping structure a €20m investment fund in the movies industry in France.
He holds an MPA in Technology & Economic Development from Columbia University's SIPA, an MSc in Advanced Computing from Imperial College and a Masters degree in Energy & Telecommunications from Centrale Supélec
