Has built a research programme focused on the rationalization of gas uptake properties of dynamically porous materials for applications related to energy, opening up new directions for the future design of a next generation of functional materials. Participated in a number of public engagement projects; developed Porous Materials Modelling Group website (www.pore-behaviour.com); participated in Royal Society MP pairing scheme. Author: book chapter, entitled Porous Materials, included in Molecules at Work; published work widely in journals including Nature. Shortlisted for Young European Chemist of the Year Award.
