WeWork

WeWork, established in 2010 and headquartered in New York City, provides shared workspace, community, office services and incubation for entrepreneurs, freelancers, start-ups and businesses. WeWork's 100,000+ members have access to health insurance, an internal social network, social events and workshops, and an annual summer retreat. WeWork has a rapidly growing "enterprise" community which includes some of the world's biggest companies, including: Spotify, Microsoft, Pinterest, Salesforce, Sprint, Dell, Deloitte, and HSBC.

In 2016, WeWork launched a separate "co-living" venture called WeLive, which applies the same principles to housing, offering rental apartments that are grouped together with shared spaces and services, and group activities and events.

WeWork investors include, but are not limited to: J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, T. Rowe Price Associates, Wellington Management, Goldman Sachs Group, the Harvard Corp., Benchmark, Mortimer Zuckerman, former CEO of Boston Properties, and SoftBank. As of 2017, WeWork is valued at $20 Billion.

WeWork employs over 2,000 people, and, as of 2017, has operations in 23 United States cities, and 16 countries including: Australia, Canada, India, China, Hong Kong, France, United Kingdom, Israel, South Korea, Mexico, Netherlands and Germany.
