Vibrant Planet is among the first common operating platforms for local, state and federal agencies and utilities to prioritize and coordinate actions to mitigate hazard and risk across wildfire, flooding and sedimentation, hurricanes/high winds and other extreme weather. The platform also assesses interactions between hazards – for example, wildfire and post-wildfire landslides or hurricane and wildfire hazard (e.g. the Lahaina fire).
