Established in 1984, China Vanke, one of the largest residential property developers in China, entered the real estate industry in 1988. In 1993, it decided that mass-market residential property development would be its core business. It operates in more than 66 cities in three major economic regions: the Pearl River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta and the Bohai-Rim region. It has built homes for over 150,000 families in China and has the largest market capitalization on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
