Umoe

Umoe is a private Norwegian industrial group, founded in 1984, that was built on oil and gas as well as domestic Norwegian service businesses. Its expansion in renewables has been financed by the sale of the tanker fleet and oil service interests. It has substantial investments in renewables through Umoe Bioenergy in Brazil, with sugarcane ethanol and solar photovoltaics as main shareholder of Renewable Energy Corporation. Umoe Restaurants dominate the Scandinavian service sector. Umoe Mandal develops and builds advanced naval craft.
