Rishi Valley Institute for Educational Resources (RIVER)

The mission of Rishi Valley Institute for Educational Resource’s (RiVER) is to promote village-based education, train teachers and teacher trainers in a multi-grade multi-level methodology (MGML) developed by RiVER, publish MGML methodology instructional materials, draw working children into the school system, create green spaces around school campuses for the conservation of biodiversity in general and medicinal plants in particular, raise awareness of health, nutrition and sanitation, and actively involve the community in the day-to-day management of their children's school. RiVER has three decades of experience in developing and disseminating its methodology.
