Janaagraha

An NGO on urban governance in India, working on policy advocacy and grassroots initiatives. It has had over 100,000 citizens participate in campaigns, and over 8,000 volunteers giving more than 8 million hours of time. Its success include lobbying for a US$ 25 billion federal programme for urban India which is the largest in India's history, a state-level urban initiative in Rajasthan and a multi-stakeholder platform in Bangalore called City Connect.
