Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers SA - Grupo Jereissati

Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers is part of the Brazilian Grupo Jereissati, which also owns La Fonte Participações, the parent company. Founded at the beginning of the last century as a company active in the textile segment, it diversified into real estate in 1946 as Companhia Imobiliária Jereissati. In 1961, it acquired Metarurgica La Fonte, a traditional maker of paddocks and, in 1979, it acquired the Shopping Centre Iguatemi São Paulo and took over its management.
