The largest shareholder in Ranbaxy Laboratories with 27%. Although Ranbaxy Laboratories, Fortis Healthcare and Religare are currently not subsidiaries it is the funding vehicle for these three companies and holds their brands. A consolidation and restructuring is planned in which Fortis Healthcare and Religare will move towards becoming subsidiaries.
