Aviva is the world's sixth largest insurance company, providing customers with general insurance, long-term savings, health and investment products. It is the United Kingdom's largest insurer and one of the leading providers in Europe, with substantial positions in other markets, including India, China, Singapore, Russia, Turkey, the US and Canada. It has 44 million customers and in 2010 achieved worldwide sales of more than £47 billion. It had £354 billion of funds under management end June 2011.
